Planning My Journey For UPSC – CSE

Study Progress

During this time, I got started. I first started with N. Gregory Mankiw to understand economics. This book has around 30 chapters. I finished 1st chapter.

I then along with also consolidated materials regarding my Mathematics optional. I started with M.D Raisinghania for O.D.E & Krishna Series for Statics.

I Just glanced through MDR and couldn’t read any-bit. However got started with Statics material.

Routines & Time-table

Also realised that making minute-by-minute plans or hour-by-hour plans are dangerous and won’t ever be sustainable. This has been my mistakes from last 7 years that, I always used to make hour-by-hours plans and I never could even achieved half or more than that.

I would always give up my routine, since I couldn’t follow them, I would then switch to All things which were Non-academic. I would watch youtube, surf Reddit and twitter wholeday. I used to read political posts on twitter whole day. At that time my immature self never knew about that, political Parties has huge Backend for people like me. Can’t believe how I wasted my around 7 Years achieving nothing good.

Now, lets get back to my routine. I’ve decided that, I’ll have a To-Dos list for everyday and then I’ll do any of the tasks at anytime whenever I like, unrestricted.

Body Clock

Regarding my routine, I believe consistent body clock works for me. Getting up at right time in morning and going to bed at right time is best thing.

My goal is to get up around 04:45 am and to go to bed at 23:45.

And then take 2 hours sleep in Day.

So, in total 7 hours is must for my sleep routine.

Intermittent Fasting

This week I also started intermittent fasting ( on 31st July). Initially I started with 16:8, but few days later, realized I can do more. Therefore I do sometimes 22:2. i have witnessed more efficiency. I feel more energetic, more happy. I also get the feeling of saving food, so many people around the world are facing lack of food. I feel more responsible towards eating.

I don’t eat un-necessarily, just because it is eating time. I have been eating only when I feel the need. So, overall i am respecting my body more.
